In 2019 the 30th anniversary of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child is celebrated and, in this context, several initiatives are scheduled within the framework of the Week of the Rights of the Child, promoted by the Municipality of Sertã, Commission for the Protection of Children and Youth (CPCJ). ) from Sertã, Compass Project and Sertã School Grouping. On November 22, the House of Culture of Sertã hosts the Panel / Debate on "Children's Rights". The program begins at 6 pm with the opening session which will include speeches by José Farinha Nunes, Mayor of Sertã, José Carlos Fernandes, Director of Sertã School Grouping, and Ilda Bicacro, President of CPCJ Sertã.
