The Municipality of Vila de Rei and Vale d’Agua – Association of Vale das Casas and Água Formosa organize, on March 2nd, the second edition of the Torricado Festival.

The event will take place in the village of Vale das Casas, starting at 7pm, and offers all visitors the possibility of enjoying a menu including torricado with cod, alheira, pork sausage, mushrooms and, as a new addition to this edition, crayfish. The torricado is accompanied with mashed potatoes, vegetables, juice, water and house wine.

Torricado is a typical dish from the Ribatejo area and consists of toasted bread, with olive oil and garlic.
